Those crafty Swedes over at www.frontsidefly.com have a wonderful new video that’s chock full of hatches, trout. plaid and pines. Nice and mellow, with lots of awesome smiles. Check it.

Tom’s knowledge and willingness to share with others is something that many anglers, especially me,  have to be thankful for. While i always recommend listening to his podcast over at Orvis, one that i missed a few months ago deserves special mention.

If you are fishing the Guadalupe River here in Texas for trout, or any other creeks or rivers with low flows and trout, then you have to listen to the podcast entitled “Tom’s Ten Tips for Fishing Low Water”. Listening to this recently on my third drive to the Guadalupe River took me from catching one or two trout a day, to landing five or so in just a couple of hours, with one of those being a 24″ monster (get the whole story in the “Lost in Translation” entry here on die Fische).

I know this sounds like some B.S. infomercial, but i promise you will pick up something from this podcast that will help you. For me it was, long and light leaders with no indicator. Let us know what tip you found to help you the most!

I have probably watched this 20 times, and every time i get sucked into the magic, unable to break away. See what you think and be sure to check out Michael’s Vimeo site for more amzaing underwater footage.
