Podcasts for Fly Fishers

My adventures lately have been a whole lot of driving and exploring and not a lot of fishing. While driving I’ve been listening to a lot of Tom Robbins, but i’ve also been listening to a lot of Tom Rosenbauer and his amazingly insightful podcasts. If you ignore the cheesy intro/outro you might actually be astonished at the amount of information this guy is willing to parcel out for free. My personal favorite, was the episode on Small Mouth Bass. The tip on letting the fly sit for a full minute has boosted my productivity immensely. On top of that he mentions the Sneakey Pete which is the most productive fly i’ve used in Texas.

I guess half the fun is listening to somebody to talk about things that they know. The other half is being interested in things that person talks about. Both Tom’s seem to have it in spades. One Tom R. on life, and the other Tom R. on fly fishing. Continue reading ‘Podcasts for Fly Fishers’
